Petanque Tournament in Ilanz

Description

Next to the popular playground Paradieswäldli in Ilanz, a boccia court and a balance cross have been built. Recently, a bench with the inscription «Wie geht’s dir? Co vai cun tei?» has been added to the area. The bright yellow wooden benches of the national campaign «Wie geht’s dir?» are a visible sign of mental health in public spaces. Boccia – also known as Petanque – is a popular ball game with Mediterranean roots. The goal is to place your balls as close as possible to a small target ball. It requires skill, tactics, and a steady hand. The game is easy to learn, fun, and suitable for all ages.
