Paul is a street lantern who, together with his friend Henri, lights up a bus stop in Paris. Although this is usually impossible in the lamp world, he falls in love with Claire, a girl who waits for the bus under his light day after day. He is determined to become human to finally meet Claire. So he bets everything and embarks on a dangerous journey to find a lamp named Luminum, which can turn lamps into humans. What happens to him then exceeds all his imagination.
