An evening concert between music, poetry, and visual worlds. With PASTORALE · Beethoven · Klee · Für Unseren Wald, an extraordinary interdisciplinary concert project is created under the artistic direction of composer and violinist Yury Revich, combining music, literature, and visual art into an impressive total work of art. The concert is part of the forest protection campaign “Unser Wald” of the 150 Years Swiss Forest Protection anniversary association. Against the backdrop of the current debate on the protection of Swiss forests, the project sets an artistic sign for their preservation and their importance for future generations. https://unserwald.ch At the center of the program is Ludwig van Beethoven's famous 6th Symphony “Pastorale” in a version specially created by Yury Revich for octet. It is complemented by visuals inspired by Paul Klee. The specially produced animations of his works create an immersive visual world and open a new access to music and nature. Literary texts by Swiss poets on the theme of the forest, read by Sunnyi Melles, complete the artistic concept. Sound, image, and language merge into a sensual overall experience. “PASTORALE – Für unseren Wald” is a cultural event that combines art and social engagement. It invites you to rediscover the beauty and importance of the forest – and at the same time draws attention to the necessity of protecting this unique natural heritage.
