The cultural landscape of Erschmatt and its surroundings presents a remarkable diversity and has evolved deeply over the past decades, influenced by climate, social, and economic changes. Only the succession of seasons remains unchanged. During our loop hike, we will explore this sunny region of the Loèche mountains and fully enjoy the autumn and its warm colors. We will focus on the history and the present, from the rocky steppes south of the village, to the pastures and meadows, as well as fields and gardens. A true journey for all the senses! During the final aperitif under the Hohen Spycher, we will combine a small experiment: can grapes now ripen on the sunny terrace of Erschmatt, in the face of climate change? Organized excursion in collaboration with Erlebniswelt Roggen Erschmatt. | Parking spaces are available in Erschmatt.
