The Orgelherbst Friedrichshafen showcases the organ from its versatile side. In the St. Nikolaus Church, the festival organized by the Office for Art and Culture together with the Catholic Parish presents a varied program in September, featuring classical organ music, choir sounds, film music, and jazz. The closing event on September 27th at 8 p.m. will turn jazz: the multiple award-winning trumpeter Matthias Schriefl from Cologne will meet the Friedrichshafen organist Nikolai Geršak. Schriefl is one of the most versatile and experimental musicians in the German jazz scene, blending jazz with Alpine influences and elements from various musical traditions. Together, trumpet and organ promise an unusual concert evening full of improvisational joy, surprising sound colors, and musical encounters. Tickets: €14.00
