Opening of the Festival: Siddhartha

Description

An audiovisual journey based on the novel by Hermann Hesse. Everyone can decide on their own pilgrimage. Free oneself from thirst, desire, dreaming, joy, and suffering. Discover the teachings of Buddha. Dive into samsara, a game without end, and remain a prisoner of the world. Break through such a multitude of foolishness, such a multitude of vices, such a multitude of errors, to become a child again. Start anew, abandon all teachings and all teachers, reach your goal on your own, or die. Through love, suffering for humanity, loving humanity, to know one's own self. That in the deepest core, in the indestructible, which everyone carries within. That is perhaps the only path worth seeking. It is a crazy path. It moves in curves, it may move in circles. But wherever it goes, it is enough to want to go after it. "Your soul is the whole world," it was written. Everything else is searching, is a detour, is wandering. Embark on the journey of the Brahmin's son Siddhartha, a hero seeking truth and the meaning of life.
