The trio gained recognition at the Jazz sous les étoiles festival in Saint-Luc, where they won the audience award "Coup de cœur du public." The group then collaborated with American trumpeter Ralph Alessi and gradually made a name for themselves on Swiss stages. Inspired by the various phases of a volcanic eruption, their music alternates between explosive intensity and moments of calm and reflection. With the album The Valley Session released in 2025, the energetic trio continues its journey. Discover2026–27 brings jazz to Noda WKB – multifaceted, surprising, and limitless! Seven concerts invite you to explore the diversity of the Western Swiss scene: jazz and improvisation meet Afro-Brazilian rhythms, hip-hop, baroque influences, and contemporary sounds. The Nodathèque will become a vibrant meeting point for new sounds, unexpected encounters, and music beyond all borders.

General Information

OKWOK will perform as part of the Jazz Thursdays series at NODA BCVS in Sitten. The trio, known for their dynamic sound inspired by volcanic eruptions, will be featured alongside a variety of other artists in a series that explores the richness of jazz and improvisation.
