Open Studio: Experience Sound Worlds Together

Dear families, dear children and accompanying persons, today we are opening our museum along with the studio especially for you! At 2:00 PM, we will go on a discovery tour through the exhibition Canción de Amor by artist Nicole L'Huillier. There is much to hear, observe, and try out, as the colorful sound installations are brought to life through the participation of visitors. From 2:30 PM, we will get creative in the open studio: using recycled materials like empty cans, cardboard, or plastic cups, we will create our own imaginative sound objects for rattling, drumming, and ringing with colors, pebbles, and other materials. There will also be a fine afternoon snack. We look forward to a joyful afternoon with you! Please bring: clean yogurt cups, cottage cheese containers, metal cans, or toilet paper rolls 2:00 – 2:30 PM: Interactive family tour through the exhibition

From 2:30 PM: Workshop in the art education studio, basement
Come and go freely with Cynthia Gavranic, head of art education, Aina Aliotta, and Flavia Trachsler, art educators. In German and English. Come and go freely. Children only accompanied by adults. Ideal age of children: 3 to 10 years

General Information

The open studio invites families with children aged 3 to 10 to discover sound worlds together. The afternoon includes an interactive tour through the Canción de Amor exhibition and a creative workshop in the studio, where sound objects are made from recycled materials.
