Description

Nothing But Thieves return to Zurich After celebrating their ten-year anniversary last year – with four albums, billions of streams, thousands of live performances worldwide, and a loyal international fanbase – the five-piece band from Southend announced last week their exhilarating new single «Evolution» with new music. They mark the start of their next chapter with the announcement of their fifth album «Stray Dogs», which will be released on September 25, as well as their biggest headlining tour in 2027, taking them through Great Britain and Ireland, Europe, the United States, and Canada. This cements their status as one of the biggest touring bands in Great Britain and Europe. The first taste of the band's new music was provided by the new single «Evolution», which was premiered last week during their YouTube live stream in front of 250 local viewers and millions of fans worldwide, and was also debuted as «Hottest Record» on Radio 1 by Jack Saunders. With a skillful ability to experiment across genres that influence them as a band, the lively and energetic track combines floating vocals and energetic guitars into a communal alt-pop anthem, uniquely and brilliantly characteristic of Nothing But Thieves. With a subtle nod in the lyrics to a live club in their hometown that shaped their beginnings, the track evokes harmony, nostalgia, and hope. In 2023, Nothing But Thieves landed their first number-one album with «Dead Club City», following «Moral Panic», «Broken Machine», and «Nothing But Thieves», making it their fourth top-10 album. For their last album, they toured with «The DCC World Tour», which included two sold-out nights at London's Wembley Arena and numerous sold-out arenas and shows across Europe and North America. With over 1.2 million albums sold worldwide, 2 billion streams, and 250 million video views, they have built a loyal and broad fanbase with their powerful alternative rock sound and celebrated worldwide success with multiple gold and platinum albums. After a secret headliner concert in Newcastle, the band will perform at festivals across Europe this summer and support Biffy Clyro at their open-air concerts in London and Edinburgh. Today, they announced their biggest headlining tour to date, starting in January 2027, with concerts in Great Britain and Ireland, Europe, the United States, and Canada.
