Description

The German poet Christian Morgenstern was closely connected with Dornach: He was lifelong friends with Rudolf Steiner, and his urn was buried on the grounds of the Goetheanum. Christian Morgenstern wrote not only his often very humorous poems but also entirely different texts, was known as a sharp-witted analyst of his time, and translated famous works such as 'Peer Gynt'. Jens Wachholz, together with Barbara Gasser, has created a wonderfully playful, musical, and storytelling evening about Christian Morgenstern's work. With much theatrical skill, the two bring his texts and stories to life. In the spirit of a total work of art, this evening is a great fun and at the same time an important testimony to his diverse work.
