Description

After successfully touring Switzerland with "Rotschilds Geige," they have now created a new piece. The text was written by the Bündner writer Gianna Olinda Cadonau. Laura Zangger has newly arranged Romance songs. The text sensitively tells the story of the friendship between Simon, a violin maker, and Nina, a dog owner. What stories must be told for two people to trust each other? What can remain unsaid? Accompanied by Nina's songs, the two experience an extraordinary adventure.

The music of Laura Zangger is inspired by old Engadine folk songs with which she grew up. These melodies live on in the new compositions. They seek parallels to folk music from other countries and at the same time connect with elements of baroque music. This music fits wonderfully into the poetic writing style of Gianna Olinda Cadonau.
