Description

+ Support: tbcFrom viral hit to international longplayer: Nickless announces new album “Cars And Things That Go” for May 22, 2026 ZURICH – Nickless is no longer a local insider tip. With over half a million followers and a rapidly growing global fanbase, the Zurich multi-instrumentalist now underlines his international status: On May 22, 2026, his new album “Cars And Things That Go” will be released. Already on February 13, the single “As I Am” offers a first taste of the artist’s unmistakable sound. The path to this album was marked by massive organic growth. Especially the single “Don’t Stop The Car” marked a turning point: A viral live clip catapulted the song worldwide into playlists one year after release. Today, Nickless has over 328,000 monthly listeners on Spotify – his music is streamed from Europe through Southeast Asia to South America. 80s vibe meets honest melancholy “Cars And Things That Go” is the result of an intense phase of processing. Nickless forgoes an artificial master plan and instead relies on authenticity. The songs move in a modern synth-pop guise with strong 80s influences and at the same time timeless. Thematically, the album captures moments of passing by: encounters, separations, and reflections, which Nickless sets to a fine, approachable melancholy. International focus and live presence Nickless recently proved that he is ready for the big stages not only through spectacular actions – such as a performance 120 meters high on a hot air balloon – but above all through sold-out headline club shows in Germany and Austria. The new album now acts as a logical consequence of this development and opens the door for the next big international step.
