Nickels & Rhymes is an acoustic string band from Bern, Switzerland. Nickels & Rhymes combine energetic bluegrass with their respective backgrounds in jazz and chamber music, playing modern string band music inspired by musicians like Béla Fleck, Chris Thile, Edgar Meyer, or John Reischman and many others. Their repertoire includes a variety of fiddle tunes and traditional melodies, seasoned with one or two American folk songs.
