New Year's Concert 2027 - New Year's Concert 2027 SJBO

Description

The best young wind musicians of the country aged between 12 and 21 years, awarded, distinguished, and rewarded with scholarships, meet three times a year for a working phase with their conductor Alexander Beer, including an overseas trip in summer. Successful CD productions, international awards, and tours through Europe, South America, South Africa, Asia, or Australia have earned SJBO high regard. The first working phase takes place in January at the Federal Academy for Musical Youth Education in Trossingen. The subsequent New Year's Concert on Epiphany has become a celebrated tradition for the Trossingen audience for 15 years, and the performers with their families and friends celebrate the successful conclusion of the working week at this exhilarating musical start to the year. The program is developed entirely "fresh" at the Federal Academy, and the works will be announced, as always, from December. We are excited!
