NENDA (AT) Four years after her breakout success "Mixed Feelings," NENDA releases her debut album "KRRRA" – a powerful statement against racism, nationalism, and patriarchy. At the same time, it is a very personal work that processes the loss of her heart brother. The bilingual lyrics (German and English) are combative, humorous, and emotional. Musically, "KRRRA" is equally versatile: Hip-Hop, Spoken Word, and Conscious Rap merge with Indie Rock, complemented by Big Band, Jazz, and Indie Pop moments. On eleven tracks, NENDA demonstrates not only versatility between rap and singing but also depth in content. It deals with self-discovery, loss, everyday racism, love, and societal power structures. The album was written and produced together with music legend Femi Temowo (including Amy Winehouse, Soweto Kinch). NENDA is a musician, actress, and filmmaker from the Tyrolean Alps. Her roots are in Austria and Nigeria, and she currently lives in London. She writes her lyrics herself and combines personal experiences with a clear political stance. Participating artist: NENDA (AT)
