Description

Volunteers are invited to participate in the conservation efforts around the amphibian pond Aegelmoos, frog pools Esteracher, toad ponds Kugelfang, wetland Staadmatte, and the dry site Steineggli. The event involves cutting back hedges, removing non-native plants, and mowing reeds and grass to ensure sunlight reaches water surfaces and habitats remain sparse. No prior experience is needed, and all are welcome, including families. Participants should bring weather-appropriate clothing, sufficient drinks, and optional tools such as shovels, pruning shears, saws, rakes, scythes, or wheelbarrows.
