Nature Connects – Benjes Hedge in Trogen

Description

On this nature project, we will lend a hand to Aurelia and Hanna - together we want to create a Benjes hedge on their land and plant several shrub groups. Additionally, we will plant some larger individual trees. Through these enhancement measures, an important contribution is made to ecological networking, and we create attractive habitats for a variety of animals and plants. We will be doing various tasks: driving in stakes, digging holes, stacking wood, cutting plant roots, and planting perennials. There is something for everyone. We look forward to every helping hand! Also, your mind won't be left out on this day: in an input session, you'll learn which creatures we will be providing a new home for and what their way of life entails. There will be a vegetarian lunch and, of course, plenty of time for exchange among participants.

General Information

In Trogen, an ecological project is underway to create habitats for small mammals, birds, and insects. Volunteer helpers are invited to assist with planting trees and shrubs and to learn more about the way of life of the animals.
