Naïssam Jalal

Description

Naïssam Jalal is a flutist, singer, and composer. She draws her inspiration from music that has diverse relationships with the world and possesses a deep spiritual dimension. Through encounters, fantasies, and memories, each new creation becomes a unique work. Jalal leads various bands and performs on stages around the world. On her nine albums, she reveals her personal musical universe and gives her own meaning to the word freedom. With "Landscapes of Eternity," Jalal explores the fundamental connection between music, nature, and spirituality, which lies at the heart of the Hindu tradition. She traveled alone for several months through North India, traversing landscapes and sacred sites, meeting masters and musicians, and immersing herself in this unique experience. She invites us to discover a new way of listening in the world. From this experience, an intimate, contemplative, and profound repertoire has emerged, in which the flute becomes a vehicle for an inner journey rooted in the breath of all living beings.
