Mythos

Description

An poetic musical theater evening where words and sounds, tradition and innovation, past and future intertwine. A research team descends into the depths of a mysterious cave – an echo chamber full of voices, sounds, and memories. There, the characters begin to recognize themselves in the stories that creep like shimmering shadows from the walls. They are inevitably confronted with their own questions, fears, and desires. Myths rush over them like waves from another time. The boundaries blur between world egg, mountain dragons, natural forces, and love stories. What belongs to the past, and what signals the future? The evening is a reflection on how collective memory is formed and which stories retain significance for the future. The piece is by the author and Swiss Book Prize winner Martina Clavadetscher, with music by the folk music duo «heidi drescht». Production — Fetter Vetter & Oma Hommage
