Description

In this Rilke Year, Julien Zufferey and Mathias Clausen—both natives of Valais who grew up in an environment shaped by Rilke—take us on a musical journey through three important stages of Rilke’s life: his childhood in Prague (Sonatina by Antonín Dvořák), his repeated returns to Germany (Second Sonata by Johannes Brahms), and his twilight years and final resting place in Switzerland (First Sonata by Arthur Honegger).
