Description

Líšeň Peace Celebrations. A monstration held in today's Mariánské, then Gottwald's Valley, until the fall of the communist regime. Should it be revived? Certainly without the burden of the then ideology, purely in the interest of peace and well-being. A group of petitioners is determined to gather enough signatures and embark on the reclamation of the faded celebration they remember from childhood. Only one signature remains when suddenly, near Mucha's hut, the ground opens – and through a hole, shaped like a theatrical trapdoor, a fossil is ejected into the daylight, in the irregular shape of a prompt box. Thus, Mother Earth addresses the chosen nation of theater-makers. What she 'whispers' to them will be uncovered by a fan of TV crime shows, a passionate crossword enthusiast, an eager handyman, and a volunteer armed with a smartphone. An expedition in the style of Indiana Jones to the center of the Earth, to the roots of our statehood… and perhaps even further.
