Moon Walker (US) - Moon Walker's Wasteland Country Tour

Description

Moon Walker (US) Moon Walker's Wasteland Country Tour PUNCHY INDIE ROCK WITH POLITICAL BITE When Harry Springer founded Moon Walker during the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic, he was initially just looking for something to do while selling songs online. “I sold some, and it went well. But then I wrote pieces that I realized: I don’t want to give these away.” These very songs became the foundation of the debut “Truth to Power.” The seven-track release quickly garnered attention, not least due to viral success on TikTok and support from The Darkness singer Justin Hawkins. Sonically, Moon Walker moves between indie and garage rock with a distinct punk attitude: distorted guitars and driving rhythms meet a raw, powerful sound. At the same time, pointed, often politically charged lyrics characterize the songs and add extra spice to the project. In less than five years, the independent artist from Brooklyn has amassed over 100 million streams, sold out shows across America, and built a loyal fanbase. He has already shared the stage with acts like Tool, Primus, Coheed and Cambria, Fishbone, and Will Wood. With “WASTELAND COUNTRY,” a follow-up comes less than a year after the breakthrough album “Is This The World You Wanted?” Moon Walker clearly has something to say and does so with remarkable consistency.
