Description

An inexperienced teacher is assigned to an uncontrollable fourteen-year-old boy. It depends solely on him whether the boy will be permanently expelled from school and sent to a juvenile facility or not. Just the two of them in the classroom, engaged in an intense battle of words and wills. But what can be done with a child who fears nothing? And can a person sense the boundary beyond which they must protect their own safety? Duncan MacMillan was awarded by the Bruntwood Awards for the play Monstrum. The South Bohemian Theatre has successfully staged MacMillan's play Lungs for several seasons.
