Description
Creating a unique textile patterning method through folding, tying, and sewing. Shibori is a prime example. During a guided tour of the exhibition «Tie-dye», participants will learn more about the patterning techniques and have the opportunity to try some of the techniques afterwards.

The Wednesday Matinee at the Museum of Cultures Basel offers an exciting introduction to the art of textile patterning. Participants will learn various folding and tying techniques and can try them out themselves afterward.
