Description
Workshop: Packaging for a Circular Economy Would you like to try environmentally friendly wrapping with a Furoshiki cloth? Our Japanese instructor will take you on a journey into Japanese culture. The Furoshiki is a square cloth that has been used in Japan for over 1300 years. With just one cloth and mainly two movements – "wrapping" and "knotting" – a variety of packaging styles can be achieved. The Furoshiki can be reused after unpacking! Whether as a bag, home decoration, or for wrapping other items – the possibilities are endless. This practical cloth is not only an eco-friendly everyday tool, but it also "wraps" the warmth of the giver and helps to "knot" the relationship between people. Learn more about it in our workshop! NEW: Furoshiki made in Japan are available for purchase on site.
