Description

Director Andrei Zvyagintsev, a Russian filmmaker who has always been against the war in Ukraine, addresses this war against the backdrop of a story. The film's plot is set in 2022, during the Russian invasion of Ukraine. It follows the fates of a middle-class Russian family – Gleb, Galina, and their son. The family lives in a small town where Gleb owns a business. Their everyday life, as well as the lives of their close ones and fellow citizens, turns upside down with the outbreak of the conflict.
