In short: Milan Slick opens a long-closed chapter for his 3rd Carte Blanche: together with Finja Kejo, he brings a never-released album back to light. For his Carte Blanche at bee-flat, Milan Slick opens a door that has been closed for a long time. A few years ago, he and Finja Kejo took a break to write and record together – a whole album was created, which was never released in the end. A musical connection that mostly remained unheard. On this special evening, Milan brings this connection back to light. Together with Finja, he plays a selection of those songs and lets us hear what has been hidden so far – a reunion of two voices that were once very close. It is Milan's invitation, his handwriting, his framework: an evening that shows how much power can be in shared, almost forgotten work. Within this framework, Finja Kejo also gets her moment. The Bernese musician presents her debut EP "5" – a twelve-minute melancholic journey into adulthood, where pop, electro, and R&B seamlessly blend, detailed and playful, yet direct in intention and lyrics. Journal B described her layered production, where vocals merge with instrumentals, as "intimate total packages," which at times resemble "a kind of Gen-Z Bon Iver."
