His journey, linking Bulgaria, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom, demonstrates a total dedication to excellence and the transmission of his art. Dimitar Daskalov takes a significant step in his training by settling in Switzerland, in the heart of Valais, to join the prestigious Haute École de Musique (HEMU) in Sion. It is within this elite setting that he perfects his technique and sensitivity under the guidance of the Swiss-Bulgarian master George Vassilev, internationally renowned virtuoso and artistic director of the famous Guitar Days in Sion. Under the tutelage of this demanding mentor, Dimitar explores the quintessence of the classical repertoire, excelling both in the rigorous interpretation of historical pieces — such as Matteo Carcassi's studies — and in reimagining contemporary and daring works, exemplified by his notable arrangement of the cult title Clubbed To Death (soundtrack of the film Matrix). With this top-tier academic background, Dimitar Daskalov then chooses to settle in England, establishing himself in St Albans, in the Greater London area. Here, he develops his musical vision by founding St Albans Guitar Lessons. As an experienced director and educator, he imparts his knowledge to a new generation of musicians, combining a sharp technical approach with an open pedagogical style. Today, Dimitar Daskalov stands out for his rare versatility. While his roots are deeply embedded in classical guitar, his artistic universe extends with equal fluidity to acoustic and electric guitar, navigating between pop music, rock, folk pieces, and songwriting. An active creator, he regularly shares his writing and musical arrangements on his digital platforms, establishing himself as a accomplished artist, connecting cultures and genres with a remarkable unique imprint.
