The now well-established Midweek Jazz Jam is a monthly jazz gathering open to all, taking place in the lounge right next to the bar in an intimate atmosphere that transforms the club into a jazz cellar for the evening. Led by Natan Niddam (piano), Vincent Schmidt (guitar), Nicolas Bircher (bass), and Vincent Andreae (drums), this jam highlights a modern approach to jazz and improvisation. Each edition features a guest of honor, opening the evening to meetings and musical exchanges. The guest for this midweek is Prune Karlen. Prune is a singer, songwriter, and composer from Lausanne. Marked by nine years spent in Scotland, she composes songs blending chanson, folk, and jazz, with a particular focus on storytelling. In collaboration with vibraphonist and percussionist Clément Waquet, her music takes shape within a duo focused on space, texture, and musical interactions. After a series of concerts across Switzerland, including at the Cully Jazz Festival, she released her first EP, Autrement, in April 2026.
