L O V E P O P L A T E X is a new party format. Y2K is primarily a community centered around the nostalgia of the 2000s. The idea is to create a space for this trend in parties, whether in terms of music or style. Everyone is welcome to wear extravagant outfits and express their creativity. These parties are inclusive for all communities who want to gather around music. It's unpretentious clubbing that is super danceable! Disco Toi et Moi features Mahi and Tristan from Geneva (CH) with their set of old school Disco-Rock, Acid-Punk, and Hip Hop-New Wave. The couple has loved hunting for treasures in flea markets around the world since they were young and has started to collect audio cassettes. In addition, they enjoy creating edits of rare or unavailable tracks, mash-ups, and even their own remixes. This blend of styles and musical approach will become their trademark as cassette DJs, with sets that clearly resemble the energy and eclecticism of 2manyDj's (Soulwax) or the underground discoveries and guilty pleasures of James Murphy (LCD Soundsystem) at the decks. With a serious desire to make you dance, you can bet you'll end up grooving to their 'Dance floor' selection from the 70s to today. Barokkojewels brings ATLANTIC STRIP BANGERS TO NOSTALGIA CORE SOUNDS, BAROKKO JEWELS LOVES TO OFFER SETS THAT SMELL LIKE GUCCI HANDBAGS, MIXING GENRES LIKE JERSEY CLUB, BAILE FUNK, TRAP, OR 2000s SOUNDS. SINCE HER FIRST PERFORMANCES IN ALTERNATIVE VENUES IN GENEVA, SHE HAS PLAYED OVER 80 DATES, ATTENDED TRAP PARTIES, AND VISITED SOME SWISS FESTIVALS LIKE MONTREUX JAZZ, ROYAL ARENA, OR PALEO FESTIVAL. SHE NOW OFFERS A NEW CLUB & Y2K FORMAT 'LOVE POP LATEX'. Anita Kirppis, a Geneva DJ, embodies an unrestrained and decolonial underground musical universe, translating her eurolatina heritage. She joyfully mixes Afro-Latin sounds with techno, EDM, and dancehall, generating emotions and collective trance. As the initiator of the SANTERIA FUEGO CLUB parties, she promotes the underground Latinx scene in Geneva.
