Survival guide for the dance floor (and life) Tango (pronounced "TANGO!"), a hybrid theater-dance show, funny and committed, born from an original idea by Diana. Touched by the tango virus for a few years, she invites Juliet to discover this dance and together they decide to tell this story: Through the steps, emotions, and complicity of tango, Diana and Juliet humorously share their experiences on the Argentine tango dance floor: funny anecdotes, clumsiness, tensions, beauties, and absurdities. With humor, they draw a parallel between tango and society: machismo, feminism, emancipation, human relationships. They explore the evolution of roles (leader/follower), increasingly de-gendered today — where women can lead, men can follow, and all couples dance freely — a mirror of current struggles for equality. Because tango, like life, is about listening, power, balance, transformation, and connection.
Through their stories, they offer a perspective on the world of tango, accessible to all, especially to non-initiates — and invite the audience to discover this dance and its universe in a less stereotypical way. A show that makes you laugh, think, and dance internally.
