Description

Members of the Biel-Solothurn Symphony Orchestra TOBS! offer a chamber music program to accompany these readings of texts by Swiss authors. And since Biel is the happy host of the Swiss Literary Institute (a department of the Bern University of Applied Sciences BFH), Nebia is delighted to draw from this talented pool. A menu cooked on-site is served to the audience. In a small Swiss town with an industrial past, a group of terminally ill patients is cured overnight without explanation. Several characters from different backgrounds try to understand this event in their own way. Between relief, guilt, and anger, their paths cross and reveal the fractures of a society where some lives are, more than ever, considered excess. In this original and choral text, the author and theater director Pablo Jakob Montefusco (met at Nebia poche two seasons ago with Nonna) attempts to question the inequalities exposed by the emergence of the inconceivable.
