Description

Metternich is an Austrian rock band from Vienna whose compositions combine humorous lyrics in the Viennese dialect with rock music. The band was founded in November 2016 by Alexander Karlin, Wolfgang Posch, Bernhard Sattra, and David Zenz. In February 2017, the band introduced itself for the first time with the music video "Da Winta".
After releasing more videos on YouTube, Metternich played its first concerts in Vienna, followed by performances at Hafen Open Air and Donauinselfest. On March 20, 2020, the band released its debut album "Gschichtldrucker" on Tempel Records/Preiser Records. The second album "Oidakalyptus Now" followed on September 30, 2022.
