The Spin Atmospheric Doom Metal meets Jazz, Punk, and Prog. The Italian band Messa is embarking on their first extensive European tour, bringing their latest album The Spin. On Thursday, November 19, 2026, the quartet will stop at Dynamo Zürich. With The Spin, Messa presents their fourth studio album, making a striking statement in their over ten-year band history. During this time, the band has developed a modern-nostalgic sound with original 80s equipment, analog synthesizers, and a deliberately reduced, pointed song structure. Their characteristic «Scarlet Doom» sound is now being expanded with new nuances, blending dark heaviness with cinematic breadth. Singer Sara Bianchin delivers her most compelling performance yet: personal, vulnerable, and powerful at the same time. Last autumn, the band thrilled a broad audience across Europe as support for Paradise Lost. Currently, Messa is playing numerous sold-out shows in their home country Italy.
