Description

MERLAINE, based on singer-songwriter Daria Lanz's solo project, combines influences from country, rock, blues, and soul to craft genre-crossing, atmospheric, and rhythmic music. Known for her velvety voice, Daria envelops listeners in a cozy atmosphere, inviting them to pause and reflect. The band was formed for a concert at Nouveau Monde during the 'Fête de la musique 2024' in Fribourg and recorded their first EP 'Letting go' with Louis Jucker in La Chaux-de-Fonds in February 2025.
