Description
Participatory Performance
Festsaal
English Membering invites the audience into a collective practice of repair. Together with the performers they gather around fragments, memories and inherited histories, moving through acts of restoration, therapy and archive. Departing from a personal family history of loss and war, Dragana Bulut explores social choreographies of grief and repair. Choreography becomes a way of tracing how grief travels across bodies, generations and collective memory over time, and how events we did not experience ourselves can nevertheless become part of what we carry. Membering is not a performance about overcoming grief, but an invitation to ask how we might carry it together. Artistic direction, choreography, performance: Dragana Bulut
