Description

In a villa on Zürichberg lives former National Councilor Dr. Stotz, surrounded by portraits of a young woman. Melody was once his fiancée, but shortly before the wedding – over 40 years ago – she disappeared. To this day, Stotz has not gotten over it. He tells this to the young Tom Elmer, who is supposed to organize his estate. Gradually, Tom begins to question whether his boss really is who he claims to be. Together with Stotz’s grandniece Laura, he starts investigations that lead them to distant places – and into a past where truth and fiction dangerously intertwine.
Martin Suter has granted Theater Rigiblick the rights for a theatrical adaptation of his novel. The play is musically enriched with songs by Stephan Eicher, for which Martin Suter wrote the lyrics.

General Information
