The Feierabend concerts are entering their next season: free admission, bar service, and a subsequent conversation in the foyer with the star of the evening – Milena Marena. The sought-after soloist and chamber musician has been the solo cellist of the Musikkollegium Winterthur since the 2025/26 season. She plays Robert Schumann's romantically singing cello concerto, created in a time between high productivity and mental illness. An iconic work of cello literature that demands both virtuosity and sensitivity from its soloist. Refinement also characterizes Joseph Haydn's famous London Symphony "The Miracle." Its premiere, with Haydn himself conducting, is said to have captivated the audience at the time. Leo McFall and the musicians of the Musikkollegium Winterthur thus follow in great footsteps.
