Matinee: Unisono - From Love to Music

Description

The joy of playing! That is the spark that jumps from the screen in this documentary film, again and again. The Aargau Youth Symphony Orchestra rehearses at the Künstlerhaus Boswil, under the direction of conductor Hugo Bollschweiler and with Finnish composer and pianist Iro Rantala. The film shows rehearsals of classical pieces, joyful workshops with Iro Rantala, the development of entire passages, and the respective involvement of individual musicians. The young people speak for themselves, sharing their enthusiasm, doubts, and contagious insights into the summer camp atmosphere. They are between 15 and 26 years old, amateurs at a professional level. Musical accompaniment by the Trio Bergweid and visit by director Georges Gachot.

General Information
