Matching Ties Duo: The two leading folk musicians of the European scene with matching ties, Paul Stowe (USA) and Trevor Morriss (UK), play a diverse and unique blend of Irish, English, and Scottish folk with a touch of Bluegrass and Blues on traditional string instruments such as guitars, mandolins, and banjos, as well as harmonicas and bodhrán (Irish drum). They are not only skilled stylists on a variety of acoustic instruments but also talented singers and entertainers. Since 1986, they have been touring internationally with nearly 4000 concerts. In 2026, Matching Ties will celebrate their 40th anniversary. This includes over 3000 international concerts performed by Paul and Trevor as a duo and in various line-ups. They have performed on every conceivable stage and festival in Munich. This will be the farewell concert for Munich by Englishman Trevor Morriss, who will stop performing with Matching Ties at the end of 2026. Last chance to experience the duo Paul and Trevor together in Munich. Rosena Horan, singer, guitarist, and pianist from Dublin, has been entertaining audiences across Europe for over 35 years. She is known for her excellent voice and heartfelt communication with her audience. Influenced by all major Irish, British, and American folk singers, her voice has been compared to artists like Loreena McKennitt, Maddie Prior, June Tabor, Maura O’Connell, Joan Baez, or Joni Mitchell. She feels at home in both traditional Irish singing, especially the acapella "Sean-Nos" singing, and in modern folk styles. As a songwriter, she has won various awards with her songs. She started in the early 80s in Dublin folk clubs. During that time, she appeared on TV with the band "The Other Scythe." Tours followed in Germany, Portugal, Great Britain, Denmark, the Czech Republic, and France. In 1986, she moved to Paris, where she performed with well-known Irish bands like "Taxi Mauve," "Dirty Linen," and in the duo "Shiansu" with harpist Katrien Delavier across France. With the Irish folklore production "Celtic Ramble"—a mix of legends, music, and dance from Ireland for adults and children—she toured through France. Her CD "Belle of Bellville" received many positive reviews from the press.
