MASSACHUSETTS - BEE GEES MUSICAL lets its audience participate in an exhilarating musical-biographical show with many of the original musicians from the Bee Gees live concerts at the most important stations of this exceptional band. From the beginnings of the first single release "To Love Somebody" over "Massachusetts", the hot Saturday Night Fever era, to their last major album "You Win Again" at the end of the 80s. "The most successful family band of all time" is recorded in the Guinness Book of Records! The Gibb brothers from England formed as a pop band in 1958 in Australia and landed their first hits. In 1966, they returned together to Great Britain – the teen stars are already very popular. But that's just the beginning: in the 70s, a hit follows another. In 1978, the BEE GEES simultaneously have 5 songs in the top ten of the US charts. The musical "Massachusetts" is musically authentic and also in its overall structure, visually as well as emotionally, very close to the original – because the singers are also three brothers. All major hits will be heard, the early songs as well as the late ones. The musical part is taken over by THE ITALIAN BEE GEES, known from the large TV documentary "50 Jahre Bee Gees". The ambitious Italian Egiziano brothers are in close contact with the Gibb family and have been traveling as "missionaries" of their idols for years. They have already earned and played a dedicated fan base worldwide and possess the sole legitimacy of the Gibb brothers to represent the name and musical heritage. Thus, the three were also able to enthuse the original producer, keyboarder, and arranger of the Bee Gees from 1975 to 1982, Mr. Blue Weaver, for the musical and of course also to engage him live with all his knowledge about the original arrangements and background stories for these performances. Also joining is founding member Vince Melouney, guitarist and a permanent member of the Bee Gees from 1967 to 1969. Both are also part of the tour live. MASSACHUSETTS tells history and stories: short scenes, interviews, and video clips guide through the career of the Gibb brothers. The dance scenes naturally revive the disco era especially. Two additional singers also present the fascinating songs that the BEE GEES composed during their career for great artists like Barbra Streisand and Dionne Warwick. General Information

The musical "Massachusetts - Bee Gees Musical" presents the history of the legendary band with many of their most famous songs. The performance takes place at the SCHWALBE arena in Gummersbach and is performed by the Italian Egiziano brothers, known as THE ITALIAN BEE GEES.
