Description

Accordion, trumpet, double bass – what appears to be simple and folksy at first glance becomes different at the first note. Truly different. Marrón from southern Germany calls their music chanson-blues-waltz-polka-rock, which sometimes sounds quirky, sometimes mean, and sometimes a bit melancholic. It is also highly live-ready and danceable. Embedded in these moods, Markus Braun sings about actually unremarkable events that develop their own captivating fascination through German lyrics with authenticity and wit. He is supported by Hagen Klee on guitar, Stefan Mummert on bass, Jörg Schneider on accordion, Helmut Mayer on trumpet, and Gunnar Stäblein on drums. With rock’n roll in the heart, waltz and polka in sight, a mischievous grin, and always a bit of punk in mind – the six musicians of marrón promise a great live experience.
