Deep Time Walk

Description

The Deep Time Walk is an immersive experience that invites you to walk through the history of the Earth. Over a 4.6 km route, each meter represents one million years. Step by step, we traverse the 4.6 billion years of our planet, from its formation to today. But the Deep Time Walk is not just an original way to discover Earth's history. By experiencing, with our bodies, the vastness of the time that precedes us, it invites us to 'zoom out': to feel where we come from, to perceive our belonging to the living differently, and to cast a new look on our era and the place humanity occupies within it. The walk alternates scientific stories, moments of reflection and silence, sensory experiences, and exchanges. It is thus experienced with the head, the heart, and the body.
Two groups are offered in parallel: one in French, the other in English.
Route: 4.6 km, mainly on trails
From 15 years old. Registration required.
Free and conscious participation: everyone contributes according to their means.

General Information

The Deep Time Walk takes place on October 11 at Allondon, from 9:45 am to 1:45 pm. This unique experience invites participants to discover Earth's history through a walk, alternating scientific stories and moments of reflection.
