Mammut Floss Race

Description

The Mammut Floss Race on the Sitter-Thur traditionally takes place on Mother's Day. On the approximately 12-kilometer route from Degenau (between Wittenbach and Bischofszell) to the finish in Kradolf, the rafts compete in the categories race class, originality class, and fun class. In hundreds of hours of work, indescribable raft constructions and costumes are created. The mega event attracts between 20,000 and 30,000 spectators to the banks of the Sitter and Thur in good weather. Enjoy an unforgettable day on the banks of the Sitter and Thur. Saturday from 5 p.m. – Warm-up in Degenau with festival catering Sunday from 8 a.m. – Viewing of the rafts in Degenau Sunday at 10 a.m. – Start of the originality class Sunday at 11 a.m. – Start of the fun class Sunday at 12 p.m. – Start of the race class Sunday from 1 p.m. – Arrival of the first rafts in Kradolf The postponement date would be 23.05.2027.
