Maison de la Musique: Jeunesses Musicales - "Trio des esprits" L. Van Beethoven

Description

The Trio Niva was founded in 2024 by young artists from Swiss music colleges and consists of Thaïs Louvert (violin), Cyprien Lengagne (cello), and Norina Hirschi (piano). The ensemble, which has already received multiple awards, including the Kiwanis Prize 2025 and the Giulio-Rospigliosi Chamber Music Competition 2026, is currently continuing its training with Patrick Jüdt at the Bern University of Music. The program features three works with contrasting moods: the famous "Ghost Trio" by Ludwig van Beethoven, the contemporary piece "Fremde Szene III" by Wolfgang Rihm, and Trio No. 2 "Caprice" by Paul Juon, a Russian composer of Bündner origin. An evening dedicated to virtuosity, intensity, and expressive richness of chamber music.
