Description

A space fairy tale for children aged 4 to 9 years. Play: Melanie Sowa & Philipp Michael Börner. It is the fantastic story of a boy who clicks through the world from his screen in his childhood room day after day. However, one day, when he takes his old airplane for a joyride, he suddenly crash-lands on the moon. But he is not alone there. Who is that with him? A friend, an opponent? What is his plan? Step by step, both test how much space each can claim, what rights one has, and how far the other can venture. When the sun sets and the light on the moon goes out, it is better to endure the night together. With the exciting encounter of two beings from different worlds, LUNARIS tells the story of an unexpected friendship.
A space fairy tale inspired by Jules Verne, Georges Méliès, and Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, told through a mix of acting, digital media, and shadow theater. A co-production with Theater an der Parkaue Berlin. Funded by the Berlin Capital Culture Fund. Duration: 60 minutes

General Information

Lunaris is an interactive theater piece that tells the story of a boy who lands on the moon and forms an unexpected friendship there. The performance takes place at K42 in Friedrichshafen and is aimed at children in preschool and elementary school.
