Description

Lúmina is an international trio that connects musical horizons – with original compositions and sensitive interpretations of songs from around the world. The name, derived from Latin lumen, stands for "giving light" – and that is exactly their artistic claim: music that inspires, warms, and provides comfort.
The three musicians met at the Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber Dresden. Since then, they draw their creative energy from cultural diversity and lively exchange.
The trio includes Vladyslava Pyrozhkova (vocals) from Tschernihiw, Lisa Stadnitska (double bass) from Odesa, and Maria Iurasova (guitar) from St. Petersburg. Different languages, influences, and traditions merge in Lúmina into a sensitive, colorful soundscape.
Their repertoire ranges from original pieces to original arrangements, inspired by Brazilian rhythms, French poetry, as well as Arabic, Japanese, and Ukrainian melodies. This creates a sound that transcends borders and shines quietly yet powerfully.
