CUMBIA-REGGAETON-PUNK FROM SEATTLE LUCHA LUNA is a duo from Seattle that combines Latin American percussion, powerful bass, punk vocals, and reggaeton flows into an energetic expression of joy and anger. Founded in the turmoil of 2025, Lucha Luna addresses themes of resistance, liberation, community, and healing. The duo consists of Eva Vazquez (Toxic Tears, Savi) and Thomas Arndt (Day Soul Exquisite, Another Magic). Their debut album "BRILLA BRILLA" was released in January 2026 and reached number 1 in the first week of the most played artists on KEXP. In the words of KEXP DJ Goyri (El Sonido): "Music that relies on movement as a form of resilience and transforms intensity into something to dance to, rather than sink into."
