The LowDown Brass Band embodies Chicago's vibrant music culture and is a unique brass ensemble that combines street rhythms with Conscious Hip-Hop, Reggae, and Soul. The band is tirelessly touring and has performed on extraordinary stages—including Electric Forest, Bonnaroo, Summer Camp, Alaska's Salmon Fest, and the Montreal Jazz Fest; additionally, in 2025, they toured Europe and the UK for five weeks with the Australian band Cat Empire. Over the past four years, the LowDown Brass Band has been highly productive, releasing three albums—"The Reel Sessions," "LowDown Nights," and "$itizens of the World"—which emphasize their distinctive sound and push the boundaries of their genre. Supported by their talent and unconventional style, the LowDown Brass Band forges its own path: defying conventional norms and charting their course in the ever-changing music landscape.
