Lovesick Quartett (Rock'n'Roll/Western Swing/Country - Italy) Paolo Roberto Pianezza (guitar, vocals) and Francesca Alinovi (double bass, vocals) founded the Lovesick Duo in 2015 and have since grown into a quartet. They blend Country, Western Swing, and Rock ’n’ Roll. Their music draws from the traditions of American roots music from the 1920s to 1960s. Their performances are characterized by strong interplay and rapidly increasing live energy; they present original songs that are rooted in tradition but embody a very own style. In 2024, the band received a nomination at the Ameripolitan Music Awards in Austin, Texas, in the category “Western Swing Band”. Their deep connection to American roots music recently took them to Nashville, where they recorded their latest album at the “Bomb Shelter Studio” under the production of Dominic John Davis (Jack White, Luke Winslow-King). Guest musicians included Mickey Raphael (Willie Nelson), Chris Scruggs (Marty Stuart), Jason Smay (JD McPherson), McKinley James, and Matty Meyer (Sierra Ferrell, Pokey LaFarge). Since their formation in 2015, the Lovesick Duo/Quartet has released six studio albums – most recently "Remember My Name" (2024) – and has completed numerous tours across the USA and Europe.
